Since 1981, Services For Plastics, Inc. has manufactured Rotor and Bed Knives for all makes and models of granulators. With hundreds of different types and styles of Knives in stock, we have one of the largest inventories of readily available shipping stock in North America. SFP stocks all major granulator models and sizes of Knives, and we can provide same day shipping on all in-stock items.

If the make and model of your granulator is unknown, send us a sketch or hard sample, and we can reverse engineer and design a suitable replacement Knife. We can custom manufacture any type of Knife and provide better than OEM replacement Knives per your specification for precise compatibility. All SFP Knives are made from Premium Heat Treated D-2 tool steel and match ground for superior accuracy.

Our precision grinding technology, EPIC Sharp® Edges, provides for better and more consistent pellet size regrinds and minimizes fines and coarses to improve your overall granulating process. Our superior dimensional accuracy and manufacturing tolerances, make SFP Knives better than any other Knife available on the market. The EPIC Sharp® Edge of our Knives retains its sharpness longer due to our state-of-the-art match grinding process.

SFP offers five (5) EPIC Sharp® Edge styles and Knife design profiles:
Keen Edge, Reverse Bevel, High Sheer, Reverse Bevel High Sheer and Hook configurations.

For extreme high wear applications, an ultra wear resistant tungsten carbide coating, over the premium D2 tool steel, is also available. Talk to one of our Knife specialists about your specific application, and we will custom tailor a design to best fit your granulating needs.

SFP also offers complete resharpening services, so you can always have a set of sharp Knives on hand. We take your old worn out Knives and custom match grind them back into usable sharpened Knives. In addition, SFP manufactures a complete line of all granulator parts for repair and refurbishment of your granulators. Granulator screens and even the rotors that hold the Knives are available.
